Intro to Acting/Scene Study

Breaking down a script is the first step to acting any scene. Understanding the root of each character's motivation, reading between as well as beyond the lines will develop the emotional imagination necessary to play the character.

 

Students will get a taste of breaking down and acting scenes from current  or past TV/Film productions.

They will be provided acting tools such as character analysis, point of view, Objectives and emotional beats among other various tools to make any scene playable.
