Intro to Storyboarding

Many of our M.E.T.A. courses touch upon storyboarding but this course places special emphasis on storyboarding.  Our Intro to Filmmaking course has one class entirely dedicated to storyboarding whereas this is a 5 session storyboarding course.

 

A storyboard is a visual representation of a film sequence and breaks down the action into individual panels. It is a series of drawings, dialogue, and often camera direction that illustrates how the film/video will unfold, shot by shot.

It doesn’t matter if the student thinks they can draw or not. Stick figures are totally acceptable.

In the Storyboarding course, students not only use pencil and paper for storyboarding but also use fun apps.
