Intro to Editing

Post Production, also known as editing, is the last step in filmmaking. The process of putting images together to sequence a story is where movie magic happens.

Students will learn the fundamentals of editing using programs like Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere and/or iMovie. Even though the format for each editing program is different, the concept will always be the same which is how to tell a story. We will teach kids how to organize their footage, the importance of a 'cut', inputting music and titles as well as creating some cool special effects.
